Accessibility

We build this site to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and we test it rather than assume it.

What that means here

• Every page works with a keyboard alone, and the focus indicator is always visible.
• Body text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background, including on the tinted and dark sections, which is where contrast usually slips.
• Every photograph has descriptive alternative text.
• The video never plays on its own, never plays with sound until you ask, and carries a captions track. A written description of what it shows sits directly beneath it.
• Color is never the only way a state is shown.
• Motion respects your prefers-reduced-motion setting.
• Automated accessibility checks run on every change, and a build fails if a serious issue appears.

Where we know we fall short

The photographs and film came from the property owners and were not shot with audio description in mind. The written summary under the video is our stand-in for that.
